Krita
Upload the document you are working on to the vault as a flattened PNG.
How it works
Open Settings → Dockers → LoreOwl.
- 01
Check the name
The asset name comes from the document, or Untitled if it has not been saved.
- 02
Upload to vault
Krita exports a flattened PNG to a temporary folder and it is uploaded. Your document and its saved state are not changed.
- 03
See what happened
The docker shows the new version number, or tells you the vault already had identical bytes.
Sign in once, in the app
No pairing code to type and no token to paste.
When you sign in to the LoreOwl desktop app, it writes a short-lived credential to a file in your user profile, and the Krita docker reads it. Sign out and it is removed.
- No refresh token is stored, so the file only ever holds a short-lived access token
- Written in one step, so a host never reads half a file
- Every host integration uses the same credential, so one sign-in covers all of them
Installing it
From the Integrations page in the LoreOwl app. It finds the app's settings folder for you.
- What it installs
loreowl_kritaandkritapykrita_loreowl_krita.desktopin%APPDATA%\krita\pykrita.- Versions
- Krita 5.2 and later. Tested on 5.3.3.
- Then
- Restart Krita.
- In Settings → Configure Krita → Python Plugin Manager, enable “LoreOwl”.
- Restart Krita again, then open Settings → Dockers → LoreOwl.
- Custom locations
- Add a folder by hand, for example a portable install. Folders you add stay after a rescan.
- Uninstalling
- Removes only what the install added.
What it does not do
- Uploads a flattened PNG only, not the layered .kra.
- No browsing or importing from the vault inside Krita.
- Windows only, because the desktop app that signs it in is.
