Reaper
Upload a session and the audio it uses, skipping files the vault already has.
What the window does
Run the LoreOwl action to open the LoreOwl Vault window. Right-click its title bar to dock it.
Upload project
Uploads the .rpp and every media file it uses, each as its own asset, linked to the project.
Only new files are sent
Each file is hashed on your machine. Files the vault already has are not uploaded again.
Checked first
Names the vault would refuse are caught before anything uploads, and missing media is reported.
Files outside the project
Left out unless you tick the option to include them.
Reaper stays responsive
Transfers run in the background, and Cancel stops them.
List vault
See what is already in the vault from the same window.
Sign in once, in the app
No pairing code to type and no token to paste.
When you sign in to the LoreOwl desktop app, it writes a short-lived credential to a file in your user profile, and the Reaper window reads it. Sign out and it is removed.
- No refresh token is stored, so the file only ever holds a short-lived access token
- Written in one step, so a host never reads half a file
- Every host integration uses the same credential, so one sign-in covers all of them
Installing it
From the Integrations page in the LoreOwl app. It finds the app's settings folder for you.
- What it installs
Hyperstone\hyperstone_vault.luain%APPDATA%\REAPER\Scripts.- Versions
- REAPER 6.80 and later, with ReaImGui 0.9 or newer. Tested on REAPER 7.77.
- Then
- In Reaper, open Actions → Show action list.
- Choose New action → Load ReaScript and pick Hyperstone/hyperstone_vault.lua.
- Run the action to open the window. Right-click its title bar to dock it.
- If you just installed ReaImGui, restart Reaper first.
- Custom locations
- Add a folder by hand, for example a portable install. Folders you add stay after a rescan.
- Uninstalling
- Removes only what the install added.
What it does not do
- Upload only. It does not bring vault audio into a session.
- Needs ReaImGui, and curl, which comes with Windows 10 and later.
- Windows only, because the desktop app that signs it in is.
